SALLY WILLIAMS (Brenham, TX) Our 20 year old grandson, Harris, was seriously wounded last Tuesday when the lead vehicle he was driving on a mission in Baghdad was struck by an IED. He was med-evacuated to Landstuhl Hospital in Germany for surgery, to a hospital in Maryland for more surgery and is now at Eisenhower Medical Center in Augusta, GA, for still more work. He has two broken legs, one much worse than the other, a broken elbow and considerable shrapnel. Prayers from friends, family and strangers have supported him and his family. We hope that he will be allowed to do rehab at BAMC in San Antonio which is just minutes from home and family. We are very proud of our Purple Heart soldier! Sally Williams
