DAN GALLO [ex KILT FM, KENR-1070] (Houston, TX) Subject: Where is radio headed? Hi, Jim! Radio just needs to get creative. And, yes, it’s going to cost money. Do it right, and you’ll make money. But, one thing’s certain: As much as we geezers like to talk about “the good old days” of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s, we just can’t go back to that. That kind of market, that kind of economy, that kind of system just won’t work anymore. Get used to it. Make radio truly interesting and people will listen. I also listened to the station that was in Fair Park, was it WRR (1310)??, on Friday nights blues show. I think a man named Jim Lowe or something similar hosted it. Best wishes to you and your family for the new year. Conley Brimage
